National wholesale insurance brokerage and managing general agent Worldwide Facilities has announced that Shavarra Davis will be joining its Atlanta office as a broker specializing in the healthcare industry. Davis brings more than a decade of experience in the healthcare industry to the role, as well as an additional 10 years as a retail agent and wholesale broker.

Prior to joining Worldwide Facilities, Davis worked as a production underwriter at Ultra Risk Advisors. She also served as an account manager for Arthur J. Gallagher RMS, Inc.

Reliance Partners, a commercial insurance agency, has promoted Laura Ann Howell to the position of senior vice president.

Prior to the promotion, Howell began her career with Reliance Partners in 2015 as vice president, overseeing HR and Finance. She previously served as vice president for Thompson Appalachian Hardwoods where she founded a trucking company and freight brokerage.

Reliance Partners has locations in Chattanooga, Tenn., Birmingham, Ala., and Victoria, Texas. Its focus is largely concentrated in the transportation and logistics space, with a growing presence in other lines of business insurance.

Alternative Service Concepts (ASC), a national third-party claims administrator (TPA), has promoted Tracy Patterson to claims manager.

Patterson will be responsible for managing a staff of 10 dedicated to serving a large municipality client.

She will report to Assistant Vice President Vickie Hampton. Both are based in Nashville, Tenn.

Patterson brings more than 25 years of insurance industry experience to her role. She joined ASC in 2004 where she first served as a senior claims representative.

Her background includes five years as a medical-only adjuster, six years as a lost time adjuster, and five years as a senior claims representative with such companies as General Accident, Ingram Industries, and Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance.

Patterson has earned a CWCP license from the State of Georgia. She is also licensed to handle claims in Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina.
