Penn Community Bank, a Bucks County, Penn.-based independent, mutual financial organization, has hired three professionals to its administrative, lending and insurance teams.

Peter R. Palumbo joins Penn Community Bank as a mortgage loan officer, and Renee Schoeller joins as an advertising and community relations specialist. Diane Newman also joins Penn Community Insurance as a personal lines producer.

Palumbo brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and management to his new role. He oversees mortgage lending for several Upper Bucks County communities, including Quakertown, Richlandtown and Milford.

Schoeller brings communications experience from other industries to her work at Penn Community Bank. She is responsible for communicating the bank’s message and brand to the communities it serves. She also is responsible for event planning and coordinating promotional materials for the marketing department.

Meanwhile, Newman brings business experience accumulated over more than three decades to Penn Community Insurance. She has experience in the insurance industry, having worked as an insurance representative for regional and national insurance agencies throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.

Clark Insurance, a Portland, Maine-headquartered, 100 percent employee owned agency, has hired Tim McCarty as the director of loss control services.

McCarty has decades of national experience in the safety field.

In his new role, McCarty will be providing and coordinating loss control services for the agency’s offices in Portland, Maine; Manchester, N.H., and Lowell, Mass. With more than 100 employees, Clark Insurance has in-house safety services to assist customers.

Clark Insurance provides business, employee benefits, bonds and personal insurance throughout New England.

Berkley Alliance Managers, an Albany, N.Y.-based Berkley Company, has named Anthony Andersen as senior vice president and professional liability claims manager.

In this role, he will be responsible for providing managerial oversight to the company’s claims staff.

Andersen joins Berkley Alliance Managers with more than 25 years of management and architects and engineers (A&E) claims handling experience with leading insurance carriers. He has A&E claims and construction-related experience as well as knowledge regarding best practices and risk management for A&E firms.

Berkley Alliance Managers is an alliance of specialty professional liability insurance underwriters and is a member company of W. R. Berkley Corporation.

RPA Insurance Services, a Parsippany, N.J.-based regional insurance agency, has hired Susan Kruger as the head of claims for Innovative Coverage Concepts (ICC) and Restaurant Programs of America (RPA).

Kruger brings more than 25 years of insurance experience to her new role, including 15 years of experience managing national accounts, loss sensitive programs and third party administrator (TPA) relationships.

Prior to joining ICC, Kruger was vice president responsible for claims management at Integro, a global insurance broker. Prior to that, she held various positions at global insurer AIG.

ICC is a national managing general agency focused on developing and delivering specialized insurance programs for the hospitality industry and restaurants.

RPA is a national retail insurance agency focused on providing business insurance products and services to specialized market segments, including hospitality and restaurant risks, throughout the U.S.

Alliant has hired Kevin T. Kenny in its Alliant Americas division. In his new role, the New York-based executive vice president and managing director will play a role in expanding the middle market division’s reach throughout the Eastern U.S.

Kenny joins Alliant with more than 30 years of experience in insurance brokerage and consulting. His expertise includes property/casualty insurance, risk management, international business and employee benefits.

Prior to joining Alliant, Kenny was head of insurance brokerage and consulting with a national financial services and insurance brokerage firm. Kenny also has prior experience as president of a New Jersey-based insurance brokerage firm.
