Farris Evans Insurance Agency (FEIA) of Memphis, Tenn., has restructured the ownership of the privately held firm and promoted Vice President Chadwick Willoughby, now a major equity holder of the company, to president. The move became effective Jan. 20., when the firm’s majority owner and co-founder, Stan Evans, transitioned from being the firm’s president to chief executive officer.
Willoughby has been at FEIA, which specializes in trucking and transportation insurance, for the last five years.
He brings 15 years of commercial insurance experience to the position and has earned four commercial insurance designations: CIC, TRS, CWCC, and CLCS. This promotion of Willoughby will spearhead the future growth of the company, including a continuation of rapid transitions in both technology and regulation.
FEIA was established by Stan Evans and his father, company founder Farris Evans Sr.
Alliant Insurance Services, a nationwide specialty insurance brokerage firm, has added Griff Moody to its Construction Services Group as senior vice president. Moody will provide insurance and surety risk advisory services to construction clients across the country. He will be based in the Alpharetta, Ga., office, servicing the greater Atlanta area.
Moody has more than 30 years of risk management experience as an established risk advisor for construction clients, as well as extensive experience in underwriting, management, and brokering of some of the largest and most complex surety and insurance programs.
Prior to joining Alliant, Moody was a managing director at a global broker and had responsibility for surety, contractor default insurance, and practice programs for property and casualty lines, as well as controlled insurance programs.

J.M. Wilson has added Adam Bolinger to its North Charleston, S.C., office. As a transportation underwriter, Bolinger is responsible for quoting new and renewal transportation risks and serving independent insurance agents in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Prior to J.M. Wilson, he worked at Baldwin & Lyons as an underwriting rater and underwriting analyst. Bolinger is also a licensed Property & Casualty producer in the state of Indiana. He is currently attending Indiana University to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration.

In this capacity, Bastian, who has served as a Main Street America field marketing representative since 2008, will be the primary marketing contact for the carrier’s largest multi-region accounts and also spearhead national account business development and agent sales incentive programs.
Bastian is based at the company’s corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla., and reports to Jeff Kusch, Main Street America’s executive vice president, insurance operations.
Bastian has nearly 25 years of property/casualty industry experience. Prior to joining Main Street America in 2006 as a senior commercial lines underwriter, she was a licensed independent insurance agent in Wappingers Falls, N.Y.
