Electronic signature software provider, AssureSign, has hired Dianna George to the newly-created position of general manager of Global Insurance Solutions. In her role, George will handle direct operations and support for AssureSign’s insurance industry customers, and will lead strategic business development efforts within the insurance vertical.
George will report to AssureSign’s Vice President of Sales, Larry Torri.
George joins AssureSign after a 15-year tenure with global insurance brokerage firm HUB International, where she worked as an IT and operations manager for seven of the company’s agencies across North America.
For more than a decade, George has also been a member of the Applied Client Network, a global group of educators and advocates for users of Applied Systems Software.
George served as president of the Ontario chapter of Applied Client Network for four terms, while also performing as a lead member of the national industry solutions committee for three terms.
AssureSign offers an on-premise, customizable option for businesses, and an on-demand SaaS solution for small business.
Bauknight Insurance, an independent insurance agency in Spring Hill, Fla., promoted Steven V. Green, Jr., to vice president of operations from office manager.
Green joined Bauknight Insurance in 2010.
He has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years and previously held sales and management positions with Assurant Specialty Property and Mercury Insurance Group.
Bauknight Insurance is a family-owned agency that has been serving Florida’s west coast region since 1975.
Willis North America, a unit of Willis Group Holdings plc, has appointed Ken Perry as vice president of the Human Capital Practice, Willis of Tennessee.
Based in Knoxville, Perry will be responsible for business development within Willis’s Human Capital Practice. He will work closely with the firm’s National Human Capital Practice to deliver employee benefits products and services to local clients. Perry will report to Andy Rader, senior vice president, Human Capital Practice, Willis of Tennessee.
Perry has more than 17 years of experience in the insurance and employee benefits space. He previously served as vice president, Health & Benefits, Aon Hewitt. He has also held key roles at USI Insurance Services and United Healthcare.

Validus Re, the reinsurance division of Bermuda-based Validus Holdings Ltd., has appointed Jorge Beltran as executive vice president, head of Treaty, for Validus Reaseguros Inc.
In this new role, Beltran will be responsible for the implementation and execution of Validus Re’s treaty strategy in Latin America.
Beltran has been with Validus Reaseguros in Miami since 2007 and has over 23 years of underwriting experience.
Prior to that, he held a number of senior positions at various leading companies including Liberty Mutual, SCOR, Swiss Re and Transatlantic.
Palomar Insurance Corporation has hired Scott King as a vice president and producer. King joined Palomar in August 2015 and will be working with United Egg Producers (UEP). He has over 25 years of experience in property and casualty insurance. King is also licensed as a property & casualty agent, along with being a licensed surplus lines broker.
King has experience in providing property and casualty insurance for commercial agribusiness, residential home builders and public entities.
