Westfield Insurance, a super-regional property and casualty insurance carrier based in Westfield Center, Ohio, hired Robyn Hahn as the new role of group marketing and communications leader.
Hahn will assume overall responsibility for the planning, development, implementation and execution of Westfield Group’s marketing, branding and communication activities.
Hahn has more than two decades of marketing, communications and sales leadership experience. She joins Westfield from Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co., where she served as senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Hahn’s professional experience also includes roles at The Travelers Cos. Inc. and Nationwide Mutual Insurance Cos.
Westfield Insurance also hired Brian Roche as its group procurement leader.
In this position, Roche will assume overall responsibility for Westfield’s procurement strategy, including strategic sourcing practices, purchase-to-pay policies and the vendor risk management program.
Roche joins Westfield from Citizens Bank, where he served in various leadership positions managing vendor risk, sourcing events and technology, and training programs. Before that, he was vice president, senior sourcing strategist for Key Bank National Association.
In all, he brings 15 years of procurement, financial and leadership experience to his new position with Westfield.
Crawford & Company named Dan Daniel as vice president, U.S. Property & Casualty client development. He formerly served as vice president of Catastrophe Services for U.S. Property & Casualty for the company.
Daniel will lead the U.S. Property & Casualty business development team with responsibility for new and improved client relations, as well as for growth in profitable revenue. He will continue to have oversight of Crawford’s catastrophe response for the U.S. and the Caribbean. Daniel is based in Crawford’s Atlanta headquarters.
Before joining Crawford in 2015, he provided general claims management consulting services in Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Latin America, and earlier held various technical and operations management positions with a global claims management firm for 15 years.
FIRST Insurance Funding Corp. in Northbrook, Ill., added Justin Berry as a senior vice president and regional sales manager.
Berry will manage FIRST Insurance Funding Corp.’s Midwest sales team and assist with national accounts.
He previously was with MarshBerry and Lighthouse Marketplace.
JLT Specialty Insurance Services Inc. (JLT Specialty USA), a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc. (JLT), appointed Robert “Bennie” Benvenuto as executive vice president and member of the U.S. executive committee. He is based in Chicago.
Benvenuto will focus on driving JLT’s specialty sales efforts to further develop the JLT Specialty Midwest operations.
Benvenuto comes to JLT Specialty USA from Aon Risk Solutions where he served as executive vice president for more than four years leading a number of the firm’s largest carrier relationships. Prior to that, he spent five years at Aon Global Accounts as producer and managing director.
Integro Re, the reinsurance division of international insurance brokerage and risk management firm Integro Ltd., has hired Tara Ryan as senior vice president in Chicago.
Her responsibilities include the production and servicing of property/casualty program and reinsurance business.
Ryan joins Integro Re from JLT Re, where she served as vice president for programs and treaty reinsurance. Earlier she was assistant vice president with Aon Benfield. She brings almost 20 years of experience in underwriting and broking, including program, facultative and niche treaty business across the United States.
As an independent intermediary, Integro Re serves clients across a broad spectrum of industries.
Phoenix, Ariz.-based surplus line wholesaler The Keating Group (tKg) added Cal Rogers as assistant vice president, broker in its Springfield, Mo., office.
Rogers will be responsible for property/casualty production in the Midwest region.
Prior to joining tKg, Rogers was the brokerage manager for MJ Kelly Co. He also previously held the position of vice president/broker for Alexander, Morford and Woo.
St. Louis-based Midwest Employers Casualty Co. (MECC), a W. R. Berkley Co., hired David R. Anderson as underwriting director of the recently formed workers’ compensation captive practice.
Previously, Anderson held underwriting management positions with several large insurance companies. He holds the CPCU, ARM, and AU designations from the Insurance Institute of America.
