International insurance brokerage and risk management firm Integro announced that Lisa Duncan has rejoined the firm as vice president in the property practice. She will be based in Chicago.

Duncan returns to Integro from the London-based retailer Burberry, where she served as insurance and risk manager responsible for North and South America. She also supported Burberry’s global insurance program and its initiatives.

Prior to joining Burberry, Duncan was a property broker in Integro’s New York office with six years of both property and casualty experience. Her clients have included real estate investment trusts, hospitals, financial institutions, various manufacturing companies and utility corporations. She began her broker career at Marsh USA.

Integro is headquartered in New York City.

J.M. Wilson promoted Kristy Stratton to property/casualty underwriter in its Portage, Mich., office. She is responsible for quoting new and renewal accounts for a variety of commercial property/casualty risks, as well as issuing policies and servicing accounts for independent insurance agents.

Stratton was hired in 2012 as transportation and property/casualty technician, before being promoted as assistant underwriter in 2013.

Prior to joining the J.M. Wilson team she held a packaging specialist position with Perrigo and Thermofisher Scientific.

J.M. Wilson is a managing general agency and surplus lines broker with branch and affiliate offices in eight states.

Neenah, Wis.-based Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co. announced that Scott Murphy has been selected as successor to President and CEO Darwin Copeman, who will be retiring in 2015.

Copeman has been president and CEO of Jewelers Mutual since 2009.

Murphy formerly served as an executive partner and principal in the insurance industry consulting group Triad Analytic Solutions, which offers product, pricing/underwriting and distribution solutions for numerous insurance-related businesses across multiple lines of business. His career in insurance includes roles as chief operating officer at GMAC Insurance, as well as executive or management positions within the Great American family of insurance carriers, Infinity Insurance and Windsor Insurance Group.

Murphy will begin his new role as president and CEO of Jewelers Mutual in January.

Lockton Companies announced that Justin Truckenbrod has joined the company in Minneapolis, Minn., as senior vice president and managing director of the Total Rewards Consulting Practice for Lockton Dunning, based in Dallas.

Truckenbrod will lead Lockton Dunning’s Minneapolis office and will support the company’s growth nationally.

An experienced consultant, Truckenbrod advanced rapidly in previous roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. Most recently, he served as vice president and senior consultant within the human capital practice at Willis Group.

Truckenbrod has advised large employers including publicly and privately held corporations, non-profits and unionized organizations on health and welfare and total rewards optimization projects. He also has expertise in compensation, merger and acquisition due diligence and integration, global benefits, consumerism strategies, financial analysis and data analytics.

The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) has elected new officers to its board of governors.

Terrence W. Cavanaugh, president and CEO of Erie Insurance Group, was elected as PCI’s chair; Jim Wallace, chairman, president and CEO of GuideOne Insurance, was elected first vice chair; and John Barbagallo, president, Commercial Lines Group of Progressive Insurance Group, was elected second vice chair.

Cavanaugh joined Erie in 2008 after a 33-year career with the Chubb Group. He began his insurance career as an underwriter in 1975. In addition to PCI, he is on the board of the American Institute for CPCU and Insurance Institute of America.

Wallace joined GuideOne Insurance in 2001. Previously, he was the president and CEO of National Travelers Life Co. and, prior to that, partner in charge of insurance services for the eastern half of the United States for Ernst & Young.

Barbagallo joined Progressive in 1983 as a claims adjuster. His career at Progressive spans 28 years and includes management positions in claims, sales, operations and marketing.

Ryan Specialty Group (RSG), the specialty insurance services business based in Chicago, has hired Peter McKenna in a new senior role to oversee the development of the company’s MGA strategy in the UK market.

Before joining RSG, McKenna spent 12 years in a variety of senior roles at AIG in the USA, Canada and the UK.
