Lockton has named Bob Irvin as president of its San Francisco office.

Adam McDonough will continue in his role as executive vice president.

Irvin has more than 10 years of experience providing property/casualty and employee benefits advisory services to private equity firms and their portfolio companies.

Irvin has served in executive and senior vice president roles at Lockton. He was previously a senior vice president with Marsh prior to positions at Financial Engines and the U.S. House of Representatives.

Kansas City, Mo.-based Lockton provides clients with risk management, insurance and employee benefits consulting services .

Gorst & Compass Insurance has named Donna Bacarti its senior personal lines underwriter.

Bacarti will manage the newly opened San Diego, Calif., branch.

Bacarti has extensive personal lines experience and has been working in the excess and surplus lines industry for more than 21 years.

Most recently Bacarti was personal lines manager in the Burns and Wilcox San Diego office.

Bacarti has worked at Barney & Barney, Alliant Insurance Services (formerly Robert F. Driver Co.) and BB&T (formerly John Burham & Co.).

Gorst & Compass is a wholesale brokerage firm with offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento and now in San Diego.

Brad O’Neill has been named to lead Colorado-based Flood and Peterson’s employee benefits department.

O’Neill has more than 20 years of experience in the health and welfare industry. Prior to joining Flood and Peterson, O’Neill served as CEO of Golden Bee Advisors, an insurance consulting firm.

O’Neill created the Roaring Fork Valley Community Health Plan, and he assisted with the creation of Colorado’s first health insurance cooperative, the Colorado HealthOp.

Flood and Peterson provides solutions in commercial insurance, employee benefits, retirement planning and surety programs.

Burnham Benefits Insurance Services Inc. has named Adele Garcia a senior account executive in its San Francisco Bay area office.

Garcia will consult with Burnham clients to help them educate, instruct and engage employees on wellness initiatives and efficient management of the health services and benefits available to them.

Prior to Burnham Benefits, Garcia was vice president of the employee benefits division at Andreini and Co.

Burnham is an employee benefits consulting and brokerage firm headquartered in Irvine, Calif. It has offices in Orange County, the San Francisco Bay area, Los Angeles, San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara, as well as satellites in Oregon and the Washington D.C. metro area.

Twin Falls, Idaho-based Starley-Leavitt Insurance Agency has named Nikki Donnelley an account executive.

Donnelley specializes in commercial insurance for construction and condominium risks. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1991 and also has experience managing a large construction company.

Starley-Leavitt is part of Leavitt Group, which offers clients property/casualty insurance, risk management, employee benefits solutions and other services.

Brian Weaver, senior vice president of sales for Menlo Park, Calif.-based McGraw Group of Affiliated Cos., has retired effective Sept. 30.

Cindy Roth has joined the McGraw Group as senior vice president of sales and distribution.

Weaver has been with the company for 34 years. He joined the company working with Jack McGraw to build the motorcycle insurance program and Western service contract platforms, which both still remain as trademarks of the organization.

Roth has more than 25 years of experience working in insurance sales and underwriting, most recently as the division executive for The Harford’s Southwest territory.

She spent 10 years at The Hartford, and prior to that she was with companies including Travelers, Marsh, Kemper Insurance Co. and Everest National.

The McGraw Group includes McGraw Powersports, McGraw Insurance Services, Western Service Contractors and Pacific Specialty Insurance Co.

Wholesale Trading Co-Op Insurance Services LLC has named Sean Shannon vice president and property broker on the firm’s property team.

Shannon will be based in WTCI’s San Francisco office.

Shannon joins WTCI from Worldwide Facilities Inc., where he specialized in the analysis and placement of complex property programs. Prior to Worldwide, Shannon was a property broker at CRC/Crump.
