Keystone Insurers Group named Matthew Sinosky as director of business development. He is based in Keystone’s Northumberland, Pa., headquarters.

Sinosky comes to Keystone from Eastern Alliance Insurance Co., where he served as risk management consultant, senior marketing representative and, most recently, abstract markets program executive. During his tenure at Eastern Alliance, Sinosky managed the property/casualty and employee benefits insurance programs. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

Founded in 1983, Keystone is owned by its franchise partners and employees in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana and Ohio. In addition, Keystone conducts business in Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Illinois. Each partner is an independent agency.

USG Insurance Services Inc., a national wholesaler and MGA, expanded its Troy, Mich., operations with the addition of Jackie Helgemo as an associate producer/broker.

Helgemo most recently held the position of senior assistant underwriter at Burns & Wilcox.

USG Insurance Services Inc. has 15 offices across the country.

Willis North America, a unit of Willis Group Holdings, named Gregory Martens as executive vice president and human capital practice leader of its Midwest region.

Martens is based in Chicago and will oversee the human capital practice across Willis’s Midwest region, which includes Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ohio, Michigan, Nebraska and Kansas. He is responsible for business development, client retention and staff development.

He will report to Mike Liss, national partner of the Midwest region.

Martens joined Willis in 2010, and since has served as human capital practice leader of Willis’s Chicago and Illinois operations. He has more 17 years of experience in the employee benefits space. Prior to joining Willis, he held the role of senior vice president and Chicago market leader at Aon. He previously was an associate vice president of total rewards at Hewitt Associates.

Specialty insurer RLI Corp., based in Peoria, Ill., promoted Jennifer Klobnak, to senior vice president, risk services. She previously was vice president, risk services.

Klobnak has 14 years of experience working at RLI and began her career with the company in 2000 as a treasury analyst. She has held several accounting and enterprise risk roles within the organization. Prior to joining RLI, she served in audit roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Foster & Gallagher.

Klobnak is a CPA and holds the Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) professional designation.

Amerisure Mutual Insurance Co., based in Farmington Hills, Mich., has promoted Angela McBride to chief administrative officer and Shawn O’Rourke to chief technology officer.

McBride assumes responsibility of corporate services, human resources, internal audit, office of legal counsel and strategic process design and controls. She has been with the company since 2010 and recently served as vice president of human resources and vice president of internal audit.

O’Rourke previously was vice president of information technology (IT). He will continue overseeing Amerisure’s IT department with accountability for all technology solutions, including application development and services, architecture, infrastructure and security. He has been with Amerisure since 2010.

Joyce R. Banks, assistant comptroller for the Kansas Insurance Department (KID), has been appointed as the agency’s new comptroller.

Banks is replacing Kathy Bohnhoff, who is retiring from the department after 13 years.

Banks began working for KID in 1983 as a clerk typist. She moved into the accounting area in 1996 and assumed the assistant comptroller position in 2012.

The comptroller division at KID handles accounts payable and receivables for the department. The division receives and deposits to appropriate accounts more than $160 million each year. Most of these receipts go to the state’s general fund.

Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon plc, promoted Jim Stucker to assistant vice president and producer in its Chicago office.

Stucker will primarily focus on new business development. Previously, he served as a broker within the financial services group, responsible for management liability insurance for large public and private clients.

He joined Aon in 2010 from The Private Bank and Trust Co., where he was an associate managing director on the treasury management team. Prior to that, Stucker served as vice president of the global treasury sales team for the ABN AMRO of North America.
