HNI Risk Services named Chad Tisonik as its Wisconsin location president. Tisonik’s appointment marks the first time HNI Wisconsin will be managed by a non-family member of the founder since the company’s inception in 1963.

Tisonik replaced Mike Natalizio as president effective Oct. 1. Natalizio will focus on growing the business as CEO.

Tisonik previously led the advisory practice at HNI. He has 26 years of experience in risk management.

Along with its New Berlin and Minneapolis locations, HNI also has offices in Grand Rapids, Mich., and Inverness, Ill.

Insurance broker Marsh appointed Scott Wallace to lead its Columbus, Ohio office.

Wallace brings nearly 15 years of insurance-related experience to his new role, most recently serving as Marsh’s southeast partnership sales leader in Atlanta. Prior to joining Marsh, Wallace was an insurance coverage attorney with Kerns, Pitrof, Frost & Pearlman in Chicago.

A native of Sidney, Ohio, Wallace is relocating to Columbus. He succeeds Matt Wey, Marsh’s Cleveland office head, who has been providing interim oversight of the Columbus office since 2012.

Chicago-based CNA Financial Corp. promoted Drew Cadelli to vice president, inland marine. Cadelli previously was the inland marine zone leader supporting the Mid-Atlantic and Northern zones.

He started his career with The Hartford and held a number of positions with increasing responsibility. During his tenure with CNA, Cadelli has helped develop and lead CNA’s growth and margin strategies. He will be relocating to Chicago from Maryland to assume this role.

Privately owned insurance brokerage Hylant, headquartered in Ohio, announced that Jeff Miller has joined the company as the energy and polymers practice leader.

Prior to joining Hylant, Miller served in the industry as CEO for several polymer companies. As a landowner in Utica Shale, Miller has a personal interest in this industry.

Miller is currently on the board of trustees for Polymer Ohio and he was the past chairman for the Fiberglass Material Council of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association.

Springfield, Ill.-based Horace Mann Educators Corp. named Marita Zuraitis president and chief executive officer and elected her to Horace Mann’s board of directors.

Former President and CEO Peter Heckman has resigned from the board but will remain on a consultative basis for the remainder of the year.

Zuraitis joined Horace Mann on May 13 as president and CEO-elect. She came to Horace Mann from The Hanover Insurance Group, where she was president of Hanover’s property and casualty companies and a member of The Hanover’s executive leadership team.

Horace Mann focuses on educators’ financial needs, providing auto and homeowners insurance, retirement annuities, life insurance and other financial products and services.

Michael V. Zimmer has been named vice president of mergers and acquisitions for Stevens Point, Wis.-based Sentry Insurance. Zimmer joined Sentry in 2005 and most recently served as vice president – chief accounting officer.

He has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience. Zimmer has served as a vice president with Mutual of Omaha and as a vice president of Fireman’s Fund. He also previously was a public accountant with KPMG specializing in its insurance industry practice.
