Rhode Island-based Narragansett Bay Insurance Co. has named Laura L. Colangelo as director of accounting. Colangelo brings broad experience in all aspects of accounting and internal and external financial reporting within the insurance and reinsurance industries. She will oversee the financial reporting process that ensures the company’s reporting responsibilities to investors, regulators, rating agencies and other third parties are met. She most recently served as assistant vice president of finance for Argo Group International Holdings Ltd.

Shawn Sheekey has been named acting administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicles Commission. He replaces Sharon A. Harrington, who was recently appointed to the New Jersey Casino Control Commission. Sheekey has served as Deputy Chief Administrator of MVC since 2002.

Clements International, a Washington, D.C.-based provider of global insurance solutions, has named J. Christopher Beck president. Beck was previously senior vice president of the company and has led the sales divisions of Clements International since 2000. The 20-year industry veteran was responsible for the design of key insurance programs tailored to the needs of international organizations and the expatriate community.

Liberty Mutual Agency Markets’ Regional Companies Group has appointed three vice presidents to its commercial lines product management team. Aswin Krishnan will manage the workers’ compensation line of business. Most recently, he was vice president of commercial lines product development for The Hartford. Tiffany Reiner will manage the businessowners and farm lines of business. She was formerly product manager for Commercial Lines Product Management at Agency Markets. John Vrijmoet will manage the commercial auto line of business. Previously, he was senior vice president of auto for Privilege Underwriters in White Plains, New York.

The Travelers Cos. Inc. has named Anne MacDonald as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. MacDonald will have responsibility for the company’s marketing, brand management and advertising strategy, and she will serve on the company’s management committee. MacDonald will provide marketing and advertising oversight for all three of the company’s business segments, with a particular focus on Personal Insurance’s branding and customer experience. Most recently, MacDonald was a partner with The Rockefeller Consulting Group. Prior to that, she served as the president and chief marketing officer of Macy’s Inc. after serving as the chief marketing officer for Citigroup’s consumer division.
