Atlanta, Ga.-based BrightServ has appointed Michael Frank senior vice president, Insurance Services. His responsibilities include overseeing client requirements, managing client contractor programs and BrightServ processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
Frank has more than 25 years insurance experience. He began as a premium auditor for an insurance carrier, then later, became a multi-line independent adjuster. For the last 13 years, Frank was with two major property and casualty insurers, gaining experience as a large loss claims manager, program manager, field claims manager and corporate officer. He also has contractor repair program management experience and experience in natural catastrophe response.
PMSI-Tmesys has promoted Mark Hollifield to senior vice president and chief operating officer. The Tampa-based firm is a provider of pharmacy, medical services and supplies in workers’ compensation and catastrophic care industries.
In his new role, Hollifield leads all company divisions, including the Retail and Mail Service pharmacies, Professional Clinical Services, bill review, durable medical equipment/specialty services; and corporate operations.
Hollifield has contributed to PMSI-Tmesys’s business administration and pharmacy operations for four years.
Hollifield joined PMSI-Tmesys in 2002 as vice president of its Tmesys Retail Pharmacy Division, directing more than 300 associates and developing the PBM operating platform. Since 2004, he has served as vice president of pharmacy operations, responsible for the Retail Pharmacy Program as well as the PMSI Home Delivery Pharmacy, which together fulfill more than 4 million workers’ compensation pharmacy transactions annually.
Hollifield was formerly vice president-general manager for the GTE Wireless overlap properties of Verizon Communications. He has also previously served as senior auditor with Ernst & Young.
Three new national account representatives Michael Behan, William Schmidt and Mark Young have joined Crawford Integrated Services in Atlanta.
Behan joined Crawford in 2003 as a workers’ compensation adjuster in Kenner, La. Prior to joining Crawford, Behan was the chief executive officer of a family-owned business called Did It Inc., served as the general manager and controller for London Livery Ltd., in New Orleans, and was an agent/advisor for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
Schmidt rejoins Crawford after several years with other companies, most recently, York Insurance Services in Parsippany, N.J., where he served as director of sales. Prior experience also includes serving as vice president of sales for a third party administrator, senior account executive of Risk Management Services for a large claims services firm, and regional account representative for Crawford.
Young joined Crawford in 2004 as a client service manager in Dallas. Previously he was an account executive, manager of business development, and an account manager for a large Property & Casualty Risk Management Services company in Dallas. He also served as account manager for Corporate Systems in Amarillo, Texas.
Crawford Integrated Services is a new business unit developed specifically to solve the most pressing issues facing the workers’ compensation industry. The foundation of the business unit is a service-delivery model that standardizes the workers’ compensation claims-reporting process and delivers comprehensive, consistent, and goal-oriented solutions.
Scott Moss and Cynthia Hilton have been named vice presidents and sales executives of Atlanta-based Beecher-Carlson’s JBL&K Risk Services. They will be headquartered in Portland, Ore.
Beecher-Carlson merged with JBL&K Risk Services in May 2005 and promotes the brand in the Northwest.
Moss has more than 20 years experience with specialized expertise in employee benefits and property/casualty for public sector clients. He previously served as the director of procurement, Risk Management and Property Services for the City of Vancouver, Wash. He was responsible for risk management, construction project management, contracting and property management. He has also held senior risk management positions at the Portland Metro, Washington County in Hillsboro, Oregon, and the University of Utah and Medical Center.
Hilton has more than 11 years risk management experience with specialized expertise in the construction, retail and manufacturing industries. She was assistant vice president/client executive at Willis of Oregon, responsible for program design, marketing and handling of commercial accounts with a focus in construction, retail and manufacturing. She also served as a client manager at Marsh where she assisted in the design and implementation of alternative risk management programs. She began her career as an underwriter for Safeco Insurance focusing on large commercial accounts.
Johnathan Brutlag has been named branch manager, to oversee the Atlanta office of All Risks Ltd., a Baltimore, Md.-based national independent insurance wholesaler with offices nationwide.
He will focus on continuing growth in the Southeast, relationship, service, product offerings, brokerage, contract binding and support operations.

Karen Tim has been appointed new agency manager and Erica Maurer, sales and marketing coordinator of American Hobbyist Insurance, a national provider of collector-vehicle coverage.
Tim’s offices will be in American Hobbyist’s new headquarters in Jenkintown, Pa. Formerly located in Stuart, Fla., the agency relocated to larger quarters in Pennsylvania to accommodate growth.
Maurer will provide marketing support to agents and is the point of contact for agents who wish to become appointed.
