KATY AGENCY ACQUIRED

Brown & Brown Inc. has acquired substantially all of the assets of Vaught Insurance Services in Katy, Texas. The company will be merged into the current Brown & Brown of Texas office in Houston under the direction of President Robert M. Pryor. Brown & Brown, based in Daytona Beach and Tampa, Fla., provides a broad range of insurance products and services, as well as risk management, employee benefit administration and managed health care services through offices located across the country.
