VESTA’S $50 MILLION CAT DEAL

Vesta Insurance Group’s operating units have completed an insurance securitization transaction through the private placement of $50 million in catastrophe reinsurance-linked notes and common stock. The move is expected to provide loss protection related to hurricanes in the Northeast U.S. and storms around Hawaii.
