Market Detail: AmWINS Group Inc.’s (www.amwins.com) FloodFLEX is a coverage enhancement that increases the loss payable under Coverage A – Building Coverage of a commercial or residential building flood policy by 10%, 25%, 50% or even 100%. The insured receives one payment to the building and a second FloodFlex payment to be used at the insured’s discretion for any purpose, such as evacuation expenses, increased cost of construction, or the deductible. This program is managed by The Flood Insurance Agency (TFIA), an AmWINS Group Company.
