Market Detail: hci provides medical professional liability to surgery centers for claims arising from negligent acts, errors or omissions due to professional services rendered or which should have been rendered by an insured or by any other person for whose acts the named insured is legally liable, arising out of the conduct of the named insured’s business described in the declarations. Highlights include: incident sensitive trigger, duty to defend form, medical director administrative acts coverage, no sexual abuse exclusion, no aids exclusion, a range of deductible options, one, three, five-year and unlimited ERPs. Minimum premium $7,500. Commercial general liability (limits apply separately), also offered. Additional coverage highlights include: claims-made or occurrence forms and a minimum premium of $2,500. There is also the option to provide occurrence CGL on expiring claims-made CGL with gap endorsement; an option for employee benefit liability; and an option for hire/non-owned automobile liability.

Stand-Alone Fiduciary Coverage

The policy offers fiduciary liability for any employee acting as a fiduciary on behalf of the organization; directors, officers and the entity itself as well as other employees such as human resources personnel. Market Detail: Gridiron Insurance Underwriters Inc.’s pawnshop program covers all risk exposures important to pawnshop owners, including gun products liability, jewelry and firearms. The program includes many additional coverages without additional charge such as accounts receivables ($25,000), outdoor signs ($2,500) and valuable papers ($25,000) plus numerous others. It will also consider pawnshops with a limited amount of check cashing and title pawn (20 percent or less of total receipts on each). Additional states added every month.
