Social Services Directors and OfficersNuts & Bolts: Irwin Siegel Agency Inc. (ISA), a Rock Hill, N.Y., specialty program underwriter for the social services field has a new directors and officers liability insurance program that complements current social service packages and is available across most classes of business. It can be used as an ancillary policy or as a stand-alone policy. The new D&O Program with EPLI Plus has several highlights, including EZ Renewal (when there are no changes or losses). Some insureds may be eligible for a two-year policy to be billed annually with a second year 5 percent premium discount. Coverage endorsements are available for employed lawyers professional, fidelity and crime coverage, fiduciary liability, and Internet media liability. It will be administered and marketed nationally by ISA through independent agents and brokers.
Dollars: Limits up to $5million; deductibles start at $1,500; no minimum premium.

Environmental ProgramNuts & Bolts: The Hudson Programs has established new environmental coverages in well-defined segments over the last 24 months. The program includes coverage for all size of environmental engineers, consultants and contractors, above ground and underground storage tanks, as well as site pollution coverage for a wide variety of facilities. It is largely written on a non-admitted basis.
Dollars: The program features commercial general liability, contractor pollution liability, professional liability and first and third party pollution liability with limits up to $10,000,000. The minimum premiums generally start at $3,000, $1,500 for tank business. Site pollution policy terms are available up to 10 years.
Carrier: Hudson Insurance Co., Hudson Specialty Insurance Co. and Clearwater Insurance Company, all rated “A” (Excellent) by A.M. Best Company.
States Available: Non-admitted in all states; admitted in New York and New Jersey

E&O, PL for Public EntitiesNuts & Bolts: Stone Oak Underwriters, LLC, of San Antonio, Texas, has entered into a program administrator agreement with Berkley Underwriting Partners LLC, to provide public errors and omissions, EPLI and law enforcement liability coverage for public entities through independent insurance agents. Stone Oak’s initial program administrator focus is providing insurance solutions for small to medium sized public entity risks.
