Buehrer Resigns from Ohio BWC
The head of the Ohio’s insurance fund for injured workers has stepped down from his job.
Steve Buehrer resigned as administrator and CEO of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. He has led the agency for more than five years.
In his letter of resignation, which the office of Gov. John Kasich released to the Associated Press, Buehrer said he had accepted a position in the private sector.
Sarah Morrison, the bureau’s chief legal officer, will serve as interim administrator and CEO.
