Colorado Home Inventory Firm Grows Rapidly After Bad Fire Seasons
Two years after the Waldo Canyon Fire and one year after the Black Forest Fire, the most costly and devastating natural disasters in Colorado history, TWS Home Inventory and Asset Management Group LLC has seen rapid growth.
The firm was founded after the Waldo Canyon Fire to provide third-party documentation of personal property in homes or businesses, and TWS celebrated its two-year anniversary by expanding its services to Colorado’s entire Front Range.
Owner Carrie Mitchell of Colorado Springs saw the need for a comprehensive inventory of household items for insurance claims after volunteering to assist homeowners affected by the Waldo Canyon Fire in 2012.
After adding more than 20 employees to service the Front Range, TWS is poised to expand nationally by the end of summer, with initial priority for areas with the most immediate need, such as California and the East Coast, according to the company.
