Imprisoned New Jersey Woman Indicted for Auto Insurance Fraud

New Jersey prosecutors say a woman who is currently serving a five-year sentence for insurance fraud and identity theft has been indicted in a separate insurance fraud scheme to steal over $8,000 from Liberty Mutual.

Dalynn White, also known as Da’lynn White, of Mays Landing was indicted last month by a grand jury on charges that she used false financial information to obtain 13 separate insurance policies from Liberty Mutual in 2008 and 2009 – and subsequently collected $8,241 in premium refunds to which she was not entitled.

White pleaded guilty in Aug. 2009 to an unrelated insurance fraud scheme in which she collected nearly $4,400 from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development by submitting false disability claim forms in 2005. In that case, she also admitted to stealing bank information of at least seven individuals that she used to duplicate ATM and bank cards and used those cards to purchase items and obtain cash.
