Insurance Journal Launches iPhone App
Insurance Journal has launched an iPhone application that allows readers to quickly view news and multimedia content published on the magazine’s Web site.
The free iPhone application — now available in the Apple iTunes store — is a first-of-its-kind for the property/casualty insurance trade publishing industry. The app features an easy-to-use interface that allows readers to browse national, international and regional headlines and stories. In addition, its specialized browser keeps readers up to date whenever news breaks on InsuranceJournal.com. It also allows easy access to Insurance Journal‘s archive of video interviews and podcasts.
Three companies have signed on as charter sponsors to support the new iPhone application: Demotech, Inc. is an actuarial consulting and financial analysis firm; Great American Insurance Group’s Executive Liability Division (ELD), which offers independent agents and brokers a specialized facility for Directors’ and Officers’ Liability Insurance and related professional liability coverages; and MarshBerry, which offers consulting, acquisition and information services as well as Partner Exchange Networks.
The application can be downloaded from the Apple App Store at www.itunes.com/appstore”>http://www.itunes.com/appstore/”>www.itunes.com/appstore.
