Beloten to Head Workers’ Comp Board
Robert E. Beloten has been named chairman of the New York Workers’ Compensation Board, replacing Zachary Weiss, who announced his resignation in June.
Beloten was named to the board in May. Beloten served as a workers’ compensation judge from 1988 to 1996 , and from 2000 until he became a commissioner.
During the four years between his tenures as a compensation judge, Beloten worked for Keating & Klein, a law firm on Long Island that specializes in health care law.
