CRC Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire New York City-based Euclid Transactional.
UK insurance broker Howden agreed to buy M&A protection specialist Atlantic Group. Atlantic Group’s founders–Richard French, Joe O’Brien, and David Haigh–will become shareholders of Howden.
Acrisure is acquiring Vave, a managing general agent, from its parent Canopius. Vave will continue to operate under its brand name. The MGA will join Acrisure Underwriting, which operates independently of Acrisure’s distribution.
Broker WTW has an agreement in place to acquire Newfront. The transaction is expected to close during Q1 2026. Newfront’s two business segments, Business Insurance and Total Rewards, will be combined with WTW’s Risk & Broking (R&B) and Health, Wealth & Career (HWC) segments, respectively.
The Baldwin Group and CAC Group will merge to create one of the largest independent insurance advisory and distribution platforms in the U.S. The transaction is expected to close in the Q1 2026.
Insurance broker NFP, an Aon company, acquired Hamilton Insurance Agency in Fairfax, Virginia. NFP also acquired Hamilton’s benefits administration technology, BeneLink Connect, and risk management assistant technology tool, Electronic Risk Management Assistant.
Witkin Scott Associates joined the Lawley organization. All associates of Witkin Scott will join Lawley and relocate to its main office in Buffalo, New York.
Partners Risk Services joined with accounting advisory firm Nichols Cauley and with JGH Consulting, a transactions advisory firm.
Higginbotham, based in Houston, Texas, acquired Charter Energy in Atlanta, Georgia. Charter focuses on the energy sector, heavy industry, and construction. Higginbotham provides insurance, financial, and HR/employee benefits services.
Miami-based NSI Insurance Group acquired another Miami-headquartered brokerage, Mutual Insurance Group.
Trucordia acquired First Texas Agency business, based in Houston, Texas.
Inszone Insurance Services acquired Bierschwale-Rees Insurance, an independent insurance agency based in Fredericksburg, Texas. The Bierschwale-Rees Insurance team will continue operating from its Fredericksburg office.
Xceedance acquired Marble Box, a company delivering tailored operational support and process optimization solutions to independent insurance agencies and brokers. This acquisition marks Xceedance’s entry into the agent and broker ecosystem.
Higginbotham has acquired Mishawaka, Indiana-based Synergy Insurance, which serves northern Indiana and southern Michigan.
World Insurance Associates LLC acquired the business of SilverLeaf Insurance Group in Scottsdale, Arizona. SilverLeaf offers business, health, life and personal insurance lines
Marsh McLennan Agency acquired three privately owned Honolulu, Hawaii-based insurance brokerages from Tradewind Group: Atlas Insurance Agency, Pyramid Insurance Centre, and IC International. Employees from all three firms will join MMA and continue to operate out of their existing office locations. Tradewind Group is a diversified Hawaii investment company.
