Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance
The Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA) signed four new member agencies in the South Central region in May.
May’s new South Central members are: Morrow Insurance Group of Texarkana, Texas; McPeak & Associates of Edmond, Okla.; Darren Perry Agency of Muskogee, Okla.; and Blake Fulenwider Insurance Agency of Clyde, Texas.
LevelFirst
LevelFirst, a diversified wholesale broker and managing general agency headquartered in Dallas, has opened an Austin office.
Vivian Plein has joined LevelFirst to lead the Austin office. Plein has more than 10 years of excess and surplus insurance production experience and joins LevelFirst from R-T Specialty where she served as a casualty and professional lines broker.
Plein will continue developing and implementing LevelFirst’s growth strategy. The Austin office will allow LevelFirst to more effectively support and service its retail agents in that region, the company said.
CBIZ, Texas-Based Stolz and Co.
Ohio-based professional business services firm, CBIZ Inc., has acquired the assets of insurance firm Stoltz and Co. LTD., L.L.P., of Midland, Texas, effective July 1.
With operations in Midland, San Antonio and Amarillo, Stoltz and Co. was founded by Mark A. Stoltz in 1990. A regional insurance broker, it specializes in multiple insurance products and services including property and casualty insurance, personal lines and employee benefits, and specializes in oil and gas related risk management.
The acquisition adds 13 employees and an expected $3.2 million in annualized revenue to CBIZ.
