Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired ProSource Financial LLC in Westchester, Ill.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1986, ProSource Financial LLC is an employee benefit insurance broker that offers a full range of group employee benefit products and consulting services to clients in the midwestern United States. The firm specializes in providing group medical, disability, dental and voluntary products to the medical, food service, education and business service industries.
Leo J. Shapiro and his colleagues will continue to operate at their current location under the direction of William Ziebell, north central regional executive vice president of Gallagher’s employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.

Neace Lukens, an AssuredPartners Inc. company, has acquired Jenkins Insurance Services, a Sellersburg, Ind.-based employee benefits insurance firm.
Mike Jenkins will join Neace Lukens’ New Albany office and will focus in two areas, managing his current employee benefits clients and expanding Neace Lukens’ service and product platform in the less than 100 life employee benefit arena.
Healthcare reform, insurance market conditions and the economy have presented a unique challenge to the small business community. Chartis announced it has acquired Service Net Warranty LLC, an Indiana-based provider of warranty/extended service plan administration and claims services.
Chartis will integrate Service Net into its U.S. warranty division, which currently services more than 75 million active contracts.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Based in Jeffersonville, Ind., Service Net provides administration, extended service programs, customer service support, service network management, claims processing services and service contract underwriting services.
