During National Volunteer Week, our sales team went to Galveston for a retreat and training. We chose that week to kick off our new volunteer group/initiative AMERISAFE Impact.
We put together an opportunity that morning to volunteer at the Galveston Bay Foundation. The sales team along with safety and communications team members helped restore wetlands at the Galveston Bay Foundation property, planting some 600 plants. We also made a $2,000 donation.
